WHAT ARE COMMUNITY SPACES?
- Redeemer hosts Community Spaces to support Good People doing Great Things.
- All Community Spaces are Clean, Welcoming, Heated, and Air Conditioned and have Guest WiFi. Community Spaces are entirely on ground level, making them fully Accessible for people with different physical abilities.
- Community Spaces are Safe Spaces for LGBTQ+ persons and their families (including a dedicated All-Gender bathroom). Redeemer hosts these safe spaces because we are a community serious about continuing our efforts to become anti-racists and finding endless ways to reduce our carbon footprint and take care of the earth.
- Utilizing Community Spaces can help make your event soar to great heights, no matter how small or large. Your good attitude and presence can help this building and all those who enter here amplify the good being done and experienced by others in the world.
AVAILABLE SPACES
Community Room
Suggested Donation: $200
Capacity: 85-112 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Community Room is a 48'x32’ rectangle room that has 10 round tables and 85 cushioned chairs for your event, as well as 2 eight foot rectangle folding tables and 4 four foot rectangle tables, and access to guest wifi (perfect for music streaming to complete ambience or to access other online resources for your event).
Ideal for: The Community Room, with its warm colors and live acoustic, is a great space for gathering people - be it for a nifty conference (local TED Talks anyone?), large family/friend gatherings (when the number of people who said “yes” to the Baby Shower or Anniversary Dinner or Vegan Thanksgiving bonanza will definitely overwhelm your living room), or other catered events (there’s even a Kitchen just steps away, also available upon request)

Ideal for: You or your caterers setting up food for your event in the Community Room or Northeast Classroom.
Capacity: 5-10 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Kitchen is a 15'x18’ rectangle room that has a double door refrigerator, commercial size stove/oven, three sinks for dishes, food prep, and hands, and a high-speed commercial dishwasher.
Ideal for: You or your caterers setting up food for your event in the Community Room or Northeast Classroom.
Northeast Classroom
Suggested Donation: $75
Capacity: 15-30 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Northeast Classroom is a 30’x18' rectangle room that has plenty of space for setting up a circle of chairs for people to sing Kumbaya, tables for a small reception, or chairs angeled towards the large 4x10’ screen so you can amaze people with your Powerpoint skills or project your favorite online series to be watched with friends and family. Rectangle tables and cushioned chairs can be arranged for use in this room.
Ideal for: Gathering of up to 30 people.
Capacity: 15-30 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Northeast Classroom is a 30’x18' rectangle room that has plenty of space for setting up a circle of chairs for people to sing Kumbaya, tables for a small reception, or chairs angeled towards the large 4x10’ screen so you can amaze people with your Powerpoint skills or project your favorite online series to be watched with friends and family. Rectangle tables and cushioned chairs can be arranged for use in this room.
Ideal for: Gathering of up to 30 people.
Southeast Classroom
Suggested Donation: $60
Capacity: 12-20 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Southeast Classroom is a 18'x18’5" rectangle room that has 2 eight foot light-weight rectangle tables and 12 metal folding chairs (cushioned chairs available upon request if not in use elsewhere in the building).
Ideal for: Book groups or other small scale study groups, monthly meetings, a small feast with friends and family (Southeast Classroom is directly adjacent to the Kitchen).
Capacity: 12-20 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Southeast Classroom is a 18'x18’5" rectangle room that has 2 eight foot light-weight rectangle tables and 12 metal folding chairs (cushioned chairs available upon request if not in use elsewhere in the building).
Ideal for: Book groups or other small scale study groups, monthly meetings, a small feast with friends and family (Southeast Classroom is directly adjacent to the Kitchen).
Gathering Room
Suggested Donation: $55
Capacity: 12-15 people
Dimensions/Available Resources: The Gathering Room is a 18'x10’7" room that has a a 3-4 person couch, as well as three upholstered chairs, and 5 upholstered folding chairs that can easily be pulled out of the closet to make a comfortable oval gathering.
Ideal for: This is a great room for relaxed, small meetings that don’t need tables, but could use plenty of warm atmosphere. The Gathering Room is directly adjacent to the Community Room and makes for an excellent space for leaders/planners to prepare before and during a conference or family/friend event happening in that room. The Gathering Room can also be utilized as space for bridal parties to gather before a wedding or musicians to have prep and quiet space before a concert.

Ideal for: This is a great room in which to get comfortable for your meeting, while having plenty of space to set up paperwork, electronic devices, and even light refreshments. Works especially well for a hybrid meeting where some folks are online and some folks are in person. Also a good space for musicians and leaders to spread our instruments and materials and food ahead of an event being held in one of the other Community Spaces.

Dimensions/Available Resources: The Sanctuary is an approximately 40'x40' (1200 sqft) cruciform shaped space that is an incredibly warm space, full of natural wood and an amazing acoustic that brought a Light Opera Ensemble connected to the Metropolitan Opera here to do a yearly concert for years. Comfortable, padded, movable wooden chairs can be configured in a number of ways and lots of natural light round out the Sanctuary, welcoming all.
Ideal for: Concerts, Recitals, Public Speaking Events or Panels, Worship Events.
* Note: The Steinway Piano in the Sanctuary may be used upon request, for an additional suggested donation of $75. If you wish for it to be tuned immediately prior to your event, this usually costs about $125.
