We read these words in Deuteronomy.

There are many in need, in our world, our country, our community.

In this land of plenty, there are many in need. They are all different ages with many different needs. It can be overwhelming as we wrestle with who should I/we help? How should I/we help?

And as there are many needs, so there are many different ways to help.

10Give freely to those in need. Let your heart be tender toward others. And God will bless you in all your work and everything you do. 11Yes, there will always be people in need. God commands we give freely to them. Deuteronomy 15:10-11

God calls us to open our hearts and our hands to those in need.

Through prayer and reflection we can be guided how best to utilize the talents and resources we have. And we can decide who we should help.

You have questions, so do I. Let’s talk.

Peace be with you,
